A New Big Brother, is a first-of-its-kind Virtual Big Brother Program connecting Certified Big Brother Mentors with Little Brothers nationwide. Every session is simple, focusing on encouragement, meaningful connection and fun! What makes our platform different is our safeguarding technology, vetting and screening process, and our proprietary Mentorship Model & Big Brother Certification Program, that equips Big Brother Mentors on how to encourage the next generation to be there best self.

The Certified Big Brother Mentor

The Certified Big Brother Mentor is a new role designed for the next generation of youth mentorship - combining the relational strengths of a Big Brother with the developmental science of a Mentor. Big Brother Mentor’s build a deep connection, provide genuine encouragement, foster trust, establish relational boding, and help each Little Brother better understand himself, recognize his strengths, and discover his true potential.

As a Mentor, they apply training grounded in our mentorship methodology and modern male developmental science, to help Little Brothers develop the skills, habits, mindset, confidence needed to become their healthiest and best selves.

Together, these roles create a unique mentorship experience that balances friendship, meaningful connection and personal growth - helping young men thrive both mentally and physically. Together they form the future of mentorship: The Certified Big Brother Mentor.

Our Big Brother Matching

Big Brother Matching is one of our premier mentorship services, designed to create meaningful, long-term mentor relationships through an assigned or enhanced matching process that considers shared interests, personality traits, life experiences, goals, and career aspirations. Through this program, mentors are thoughtfully paired with Little Brothers to foster trust, connection, and personal growth over time. During at the beginning of onboarding clients can add-on this feature of Enhanced Matching.

Pay-it-Forward Model:

Through our Pay-It-Forward Model, every membership contributes to more than a single match. Membership revenue is pooled to support mentor certification and training, mentorship science and male development research, foster youth assistance programs, Little Brother scholarships, technology infrastructure, platform growth, accessibility initiatives, and continued program innovation, games and prizes for the Little Brothers. As a result, each family not only invests in their own son's development, but also helps create mentorship opportunities for other boys who may not otherwise have access to a positive Big Brother Mentor.

Mentorship Methodology & Training

When considering Big Brother Mentors, we are seeking big brother mentors who are committed to learning and applying our proven methodology, our mentorship model, and who value delivering a consistent mentorship experience aligned with our principles and values.

We are particularly interested in individuals who share our belief that effective mentorship is built through deep connection and encouragement. Our mentorship model does not utilize punitive, disciplinary, or shame-based approaches. Candidates must demonstrate an ability to mentor within these values and align with our relationship-centered methodology. Individuals whose mentoring philosophy or interpersonal approach is inconsistent with these standards may not be selected for certification or placement as a Big Brother Mentor. Our science-based model focuses on helping each boy develop into the best version of himself as an individual, rather than conforming to a predetermined mold. We deliver this through a mentorship model grounded in modern research of developmental science and evidence-informed, genetics-aware principles.

One-of-a-kind Big Brother Certification Program:

Our certification program includes training in adolescent development, encouragement based coaching, communication skills, safety protocols, and positive mentorship practices designed to help mentors become effective role models for the next generation.

We encourage prospective Big Brother Mentors to bring their life experiences and unique perspectives to support and guide our Little Brothers. To complement these experiences, all mentors complete our Big Brother Certification Program, a proprietary training framework grounded in contemporary research on adolescent development, relational bonding, and positive youth mentorship. The purpose of certification is not to replace a mentor's individuality, but to enhance it by providing evidence-informed tools, insights, and best practices that support effective little brother mentorship. Our training helps mentors recognize developmental opportunities and potential blind spots that may not be apparent through personal experience alone, while equipping them to guide Little Brothers through an approach rooted in deep connection and encouragement.

• Personal Style and 'How to Be Cool' Advice

• Healthy Dating and Relationship Advice. (Such as, how to talk to girls) (available for teen participants only).

Our main approach is always the big brother connection. Big Brother Mentors are trained on how to spot the Little Brother's potential and bring that potential to fruition through our proprietary mentorship methodology model.
